Building Stronger Families
All relationships can be made stronger. This course will help you enjoy each other's company more and help you avoid negative communications that can so easily damage a relationship.
We will spend some time looking at some of the main tension points, especially how to talk together about parenting and money.
This course is for you as a couple. We won't be expecting you to do anything in public and nearly all the discussions are between the two of you.
Course Programme
The course has twelve sessions each lasting about 60 - 75 minutes.
Day 1

| 3 | STOP Signs | Four danger signals for behaviours that can corrode relationships. |
| 4 | The Love Tank | How our emotions affect our decisions and reactions and how to invest actively in our relationship in advance |
Day 2

| 5 | Premier Parenting Principle | Setting the scene and atmosphere for effective parenting. |
| 6 | Maintenance & Repair | Assertive Parenting and managing conflict. |
| 7 | The Power of Forgiveness | Different levels of relational damage and the steps to moving past them. |
| 8 | Resolving Conflict | Recognizing different anger types and learning strategies to resolve conflict |
Day 3

| 9 | Communicating about money | Background to money disputes; how our past affects the present. |
| 10 | Character types | Identify classic 'spending patterns' and associated stresses and strains. |
| 11 | Choices | Exploration of how we make choices and exercising this power for good in the relationship |
| 12 | Commitment | Planning for the future. The power of making good and lasting choices 'into the sunset'. |
