The 'Building Stronger Families' Facilitators course covers both the theory and the practicalities of setting up and running a successful course. It will provide you with everything you need to run BSF with your own clients.


Theory of couple relationshipsThe importance of communication. Negative and Positive communication. Commitment and Forgiveness.
Theory of parentingApproaches to parenting. Child development. Types of parenting style.
Theory of money issuesMoney and personality. Significance of money in a couples' relationship.
Delivering a course to couplesGroup dynamics with couple dyads.
Recruitment of participantsA successful course requires good recruitment. Methods of recruiting and issues around getting men to come to relationship courses
Monitoring and EvaluationTfF's approach to monitoring and evaluation, including use of the TfF database.
Using, training and managing volunteersVolunteers can make a good course great. But they need managing, especially when handling sensitive issues around relationships.
Relationship with TfFWe want to support organisations set up and run courses.
